MENTORING PROGRAM WINS GRANTS

FLORENCE—The Next Level Mentoring Program, a nonprofit organization that assists minority high school students grades 8-12 who want to continue their education beyond high school, recently was awarded the following grants: $9000 – Greater Cincinnati Foundation, $5000 – Toyota, $2000 – Cinergy Foundation, $1000 L’Oreal, $1000 – Sam’s Club, and $1000 – DCES Educational Services. The grants will be used by Next Level to support programs related to one to one academic mentoring, personal development, and cultural awareness.

"Next Level is reaching out to the youth of Northern Kentucky," Ray Watson, program officer for The Greater Cincinnati Foundation said. "They help young people make the transition between high school and college and encourage them to take advantage of higher education."

the skills and knowledge to maximize their potential to further their
education beyond high school." Said Carri Chandler of Toyota.
